One of the founding values of Trustpilot is that we are Open to All. But what does this mean in practice?
For us, being Open to All means that our Trusties are embraced for who they are and what they bring to Trustpilot. This means ensuring that they feel safe to bring their full selves to work and have their voice heard without fear of discrimination. We know that the best creativity and innovation happens when our workplace is diverse.
Pride & Allies
Trustpilot: Pride & Allies is an Employee Resource Group (ERG) formed by volunteers at Trustpilot in June 2021. As a grassroots, Trustie-run group, our priorities are supporting and celebrating the LGBTQI+ community, whilst partnering with and educating both new and existing allies. Pride & Allies provides a safe space for Trusties who identify as LGBTQI+, as well as to allies keen to learn how to show solidarity with the LGBTQI+ community.
Pride & Allies strives to be Open to All, while demonstrating how Positively Human we all are by building awareness of the LGBTQI+ experience and the unique struggles they face, both in and out of the workplace.

Trustpilot is an official partner of Copenhagen Pride 2022
In the latest step of our DEI journey, we’re really proud to announce we’re an official sponsor of Copenhagen Pride this summer. Copenhagen is the birthplace of Trustpilot, a city which has been so welcoming to our business and Trusties. So it’s a fitting location for us to make clear, to everyone, our commitment to supporting LGBTQI+ people and communities.
Building communities
Over 150 Trusties are part of our global Pride & Allies community. Our shared slack channel allows us to mark activities and events in the LGBTQI+ calendar, share personal stories and experiences, and build awareness of issues and the activities to tackle them. In the spirit of our values, our shared community is open to all Trusties, to allow everyone to learn through our DE&I journey together. However, this year, to build community amongst LGBTQI+ Trusties, we also launched an LGBTQI+ only community, as a safe space for people to connect, and share with like-minded Trusties.
Celebration
Since forming over a year ago, our Pride & Allies committee, and our members, have hosted a range of celebratory events, from bingo to virtual quizzes, and drag performances across many of our offices! Most recently, to celebrate Pride month, we hosted Trustievision in our London office - our fabulous take on Eurovision. While these events are primarily a chance to have fun together, they also raise awareness and celebrate aspects of LGBTQI+ culture, and are an opportunity to introduce Trustpilot: Pride & Allies to all Trusties, no matter who they are.
Education
A big part of the Pride & Allies mission is to provide opportunities for Trusties to learn about LGBTQI+ culture, history, and experiences. A dedicated space on our intranet hosts educational articles, covering LGBTQI+ history, resources to improve allyship, and insights into LGBTQI+ experiences. Some of the most impactful activities over the last year have involved Trusties telling their own stories, through videos or live events. In 2022, the first ‘Trust Space’ event took place, a hosted virtual panel that seeks to improve understanding, and challenge bias, stereotypes and prejudice through open conversations between Trusties.

We’re really proud of Trustpilot’s Pride and Allies community. They work really hard to help create a workplace that’s inclusive, open and accepting of everyone by organising events like Pride, hosting fun and educational activities and partnering with our Trustpilot teams to give an insight into LGBTQI+ culture and challenges, as well as helping to build our perspectives.
